Colorado River Shrinks from unsustainable use during 10 year drought

"GRIM FORECAST FOR FUTURE WATER SUPPLY FROM THE COLORADO RIVER"

Find green business solutions
A 10-year drought has lowered water stores in reservoirs along the
Colorado River. Current water-sharing agreements among states in the
Colorado Basin are overly optimistic. Without reductions in water use,
current population and economic growth rates are likely to prove
unsustainable. Noreen Parks reports for Environmental Science &
Technology July 29, 2009.
